The Coaching Process

“COACHING IS UNLOCKING A PERSON’S POTENTIAL TO MAXIMISE THEIR OWN PERFORMANCE.”

Coaching is a powerful professional relationship that gives you the opportunity to:

·     Open your mind

·     Increase clarity and understanding

·     Make improvements to your own and others’ lives

·     Gain confidence in your own future

You will also have the opportunity to learn more about yourself and your emotional intelligence, learn how to “do more with less”, increase your performance and understand how to “thrive” in the workplace (and even in your personal life!).

How does coaching work?

Coaching works through a series of open conversations, through which we’ll identify your goals and strengths, and discover new possibilities, opportunities and choices.

My overall style is influenced by positive psychology and a Strengths-Based approach. I believe you already have the strengths and knowledge to achieve your goals, so I work with you to help you understand how best to unlock this and apply it.

The Coaching Process

It’s hugely important that you and your coach have the right chemistry to enable open, trusting conversations, so the first stage in establishing a coaching relationship is an initial conversation to understand this.

If we both feel there’s a good fit, we’ll move on to uncovering exactly what you want to achieve from coaching, and set some initial goals and expectations for how we work together.

The coaching process itself is very open and flexible. As a coach I’m not here to tell you what you should do, but instead to offer tools, insight and approaches to help you decide on the best way forward.

Throughout our coaching relationship we’ll review progress against the initial goals we set together, and keep track of how well you’re achieving your desired outcomes.
